Known as Jupiter to the Romans, Zeus is the king of the Greek gods, ruler of their home upon Mount Olympus, and is traditionally heralded as the father of Gods and men. In this Zeus statue he is shown in classical Greek or Roman styling: a bearded man nude but for copper bands that wrap his arms and crown his brow, poised as though he is about to hurl a bolt of lightening. Sculpted of cold cast resin and hand painted, the classical figure of Zeus has the appearance of being sculpted of bronze or copper, making it a beautiful and distinguished piece for the altar, home, or office. The Zeus statue stands 9-1/2 inches in height and is 9 inches wide.
